Our Process

1. Understand & Discovery: Phase One... We study your company, your objectives, your brand, your market, your competition, and importantly your audience in an effort to decide the right strategy and technology* for you.

We outline all conversations and documentation provided by you to ensure your special considerations are accounted for.

*(The Technology specifications cover: browser support, screen resolution, programming language(s), multi-media requirements, application component logic, third party components, hosting requirements, expected traffic /use patterns, user tracking information, etc.)

A signing-off is mandatory before we proceed through each stage of the project.

2. Conceptualization: Think-Tanking & Organization... Documentation is presented in the form of a wire-frame* to; A.) explain how our creation accents your strategy, B.) to clearly state the route for success, and C.) to clarify the work load. Also, we earmark if possible sites that set a industry standard so that we have common visual direction to meet or exceed.

*(Depending on the project: rough-comps, sketches, story boards, or a simple outline is presented for client approval in place of wire-frames. Also, not all sites will need "wire-frames". Wire-frames represent every page of the site. The wire-frames will indicate the content, function, and basic layout of each page. Wire-frames are critical for large sites because they are the guides that we will use during the Design & Build stage to build the final web pages).

3. Design & Build: Making it all tangible... Building the components. Creating the look and feel. Bringing the vision to life. From the user interface to the backend, at this juncture in the process the real work begins.

This phase starts with the development of the homepage comp or comps, the client will select one homepage design to develop further. That design will be revised and then applied to an interior page. A second review will take place and the feedback will be incorporated into the designs. The rest of the site will be created during the Building Phase using approved designs.

The Building Phase is the “B” part of this phase “Design & Build”. At this juncture we break down the comps and build the HTML pages and/or FLASH component(s).

4. Refinement: The testing phase. A combing over of the technology, the expression, and/or the usability. Here we make sure a fusion of your vision or strategy and our concept has welded a deliverable.

5. Deliver, Launch, Enhance: Fullfillment... Hand it over to your care and keeping or we launch it into the real world. But it does not end here, this is where the relationship flourishes. The ehancement stage is one in which we continue to monitor your site over time and continue to make recommendations and implement changes for you, in other words: optimize it for continued success.
